Job Description:

Reports to:  Director of Marketing

Primary Responsibilities

- Create well-designed, cohesive, dynamic templates and graphics for all event and marketing collateral, in accordance with Broad River Retail and Ashley HomeStore brand standards, coordinating with AHS creative direction to the extent possible.

- Plan, manage, and execute the comprehensive workflow of all assignments for the creative team to ensure all deadlines are met and approved files are uploaded on time, all facts are accurate, product is presented in the most favorable view and headline/product hierarchy is prioritized to meet promotional needs.

- Ensure the overall graphic and technical quality of deliverables, with accurate and timely completion of multiple projects simultaneously.

- Present creative concepts to Director, VP and CEO in an articulate and cohesive manner, and coach creative team in execution of approved concepts to meet event goals.

- Demonstrate appropriate reasoning and judgement in analysis of issues and ability to independently select a logical course of action to resolve challenges.

- Be the subject matter expert for creative trends as applicable to BRR and AHS, and coordinate consistency across all creative projects for each event.

- Be the subject matter expert and monitor for brand standards for BRR.

- Review creative in the post mortem process to build on successes and improve future work.


Experience and Skills:

Position Requirements

-  3-5 years’ graphic design experience in a retail environment heavily oriented to print and digital.

- 1-3 years’ experience managing a creative staff.

- Proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

- Extensive PowerPoint creation skills required, along with Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Must demonstrate proactive approach to fulfillment of responsibilities, solid work ethic and willingness to go the second mile when extra efforts are needed.

- Proven ability to organize and execute multi-dimensional projects across departmental lines on time, on budget, and with excellent results.

- Superior grammar, punctuation, spelling, and editing skills, and proven attention to details.

- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Ability to work well cross-functionally with others, including senior executives, to achieve desired goals.
