Job Description:

Broad River Retail d/b/a Ashley HomeStore is seeking a talented and experienced Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing Human Capital team!

The Recruiting Coordinator will manage the processes and details to support the Human Capital Department to successfully complete recruiting, pre-employment, hiring and onboarding activities. The Recruiting Coordinator will report directly to the Human Capital, Talent Manager. The Recruiting Coordinator will manage pre-employment tasks, including background and drug test results, offer letters and new hire paperwork, record creation and e-verify completion, along with managing relationships and pay for temporary staff.

 

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • The Recruiting Coordinator will communicate openly with Recruiting team on candidate activity; manage background/drug screen activity for all candidates
  • Communicate with hiring managers as well as create offer letters.
  • In addition the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for the audit of new hire paperwork for completion and create employee files as well as enter new hire record into HR database and complete e-verify process.
  • The Recruiting Coordinator will serve as primary point of contact for ordering business cards, name badges, uniform items for all staff
  • Manage employee referral bonus program
  • Respond to verbal employment verifications
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets for new hire related communications and respond to employee inquiries about all employment-related policies and benefits
  • The Recruiting Coordinator will also assist in the brief HC presentation for new hire orientation
  • Job Requirements:
  • The Recruiting Coordinator must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • The Recruiting Coordinator must demonstrate use of HC applications, functioning at an expert level Computer proficient in email, word, spreadsheet, presentation applications.
  • Organized, strong attention to detail and proven track record of working successfully on a high-performing team
  • Quick learner with the initiative to absorb information and produce results

Experience and Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Recruiting Coordination or Staffing support role.
  • Coachable and self-directed learner who is always willing to learn
  • Detailed oriented individual with strong follow up and follow through
  • Excellent time-management
  • Professional Attitude and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to collaborate and work well on a team
